I´m John´s grand-daughter Nickie. It is November 12, 2025, and I just now found out that grandpa passed. My heart is broken at his loss, and also at how no one in my family thought to tell me. Grandpa, I´ll always remember your house in Delano, and how I learned how to shoot BB guns in the backyard, and learned to be adventurously carefree out there. Grandma Mary, you´re the best grandma yet. Thank you for teaching me how to make the best pop corn balls ever. I´m sorry I wasn´t at the funeral. I would have been if someone, anyone, had told me.
