Mr. Johnny Robert Borsodi entered into rest on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, in New Market, Virginia.
Johnny was born in South Bend, Indiana in 1960. He was one of six children born to Robert and Irene Borsodi. He was a country boy at heart and enjoyed the outdoors. He loved tinkering with older cars and had many other hobbies as well. His many talents included building things, growing and caring for plants, especially cacti, and leather working, just to name a few. He was a big kid at heart and enjoyed cartoons and Disney. Outgoing and talkative, he could strike up conversations with anyone, friends and strangers alike. Whatever subject the conversations were about, by the end, they knew he was a truck driver. It was a job he enjoyed, and he loved the company he worked for, F & W Transportation.
He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Borsodi, his mother, Marie Borsodi, his brothers, Jimmy Borsodi of Tennessee, and Nick Borsodi of Niles, Michigan, his sisters, Debbie Borsodi of South Bend, Indiana, Wanda Conrad of Berrien Springs, Michigan, and Sonya (Dave) Frantz of Niles, Michigan, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his Georgia family, his ex-wife, Vickie Russell and Danny and Alan Russell. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Richard Borsodi.
A memorial service is planned for a later date in Michigan, so friends and family can gather and say goodbye.
