Mr. Johnny Burton

Johnny Burton was born on December 31, 1955, in Elaine, Arkansas, to Claude Burton and Hazel Holland Burton. He grew up in a loving family and was deeply rooted in the values of hard work, family, and faith. Throughout his life, Johnny was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his craft, spending many years as a skilled mechanic. His commitment to helping others and his willingness to lend a hand made him a beloved friend and neighbor to many. Johnny's greatest joy came from his family. He was a father, grandfather, and brother whose love and support touched the lives of all who knew him. His humor, wisdom, and steady presence will be cherished and remembered always. He loved to have fun and to fish. Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Burton and Hazel Holland Burton; and by his siblings Donald Burton, Jack Burton, Cecil Burden, Shirley Rose, Brenda Poole, Mary Lou Bridge, Jeanie Colter and Claude Burton, Jr.; his children, Jonathan Wesley Burton and Robert Wesley Booth. He leaves to treasure his memory his loving children: Lacey Downing, Kora (Seneca) Bradshaw, Joshua Burton, Jeremy Burton, JB Burton, Johnny Burton, and Cheyenne Burton; his siblings James Burton, Dale (Barbara) Burton, and Mike (Jo) Burton; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. Johnny Burton transitioned from this life on September 27, 2025, at his home in Haynes, Arkansas, at the age of 69. His remains will be laid to rest through cremation, handled with care and dignity by Miles J. Kimble Mortuary & Cremation of Forrest City, Arkansas. His legacy of love, strength, and devotion will continue to live on in all those who were blessed to know him.
