Johnny "Red Fox" Fields

Johnny "Red Fox" Fields, of London, Kentucky, was born on August 20, 1930 in Fogertown, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Isaac Fields and Stella Lyttle Fields. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Sue Howard Fields, his devoted wife of 45 years, who survives him in London.

Red Fox leaves behind eight loving children: Delilah Owens and husband Charlie of Arkansas; Tammy Sizemore and husband Jeff, Beverly Fields, Sandra Fields, Bettina Fields Pennington and husband Jon, Tyler Fields and wife Jaclyn, and Monica Jackson and husband Shawn, all of London; and Rodney Roark and wife Sonya of Middle Fork, Kentucky. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and four siblings-Bonnie Fields, Ward Fields, Timmy Fields, and Roy Fields, all of Michigan-along with a host of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a beloved son, Russell Fields, and a sister, Lucille Fields.

Red Fox held deep affection and gratitude for the special siblings who helped raise and love him-the Hoskins Family: Yuvone, Odette, Jaclyn, Molly Ann, Barb, Charlotte, George, and Laney.

He worked proudly as a truck driver and spent many years owning and operating Fields Trucking, a job he truly loved. He enjoyed the open road and the independence that came with his work. Red Fox loved the Lord and was of the Christian faith.

Johnny "Red Fox" Fields departed this life on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, having reached the remarkable age of 95 years, 3 months, and 14 days. His legacy of love, hard work, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

The funeral service for Johnny "Red Fox" Fields will be conducted at 1 pm Monday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Kevin Wilson officiating.

The family will receive friends beginning at 12 noon Monday until the funeral hour of 1 pm at Bowling Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to Bowling Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
