Shelia Ann Lichliter, of Corbin, Kentucky, was born March 1, 1957, in London, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Paschal "Pat" Chaney and Doris House Chaney. She was united in marriage to Arthur Lichliter, Jr., who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Regina Sawyers and husband Lonnie Wayne of Corbin; her sister, Regina Harris of Corbin; and two grandsons she adored, Blake and Bo Sawyers. She also leaves behind her nephews, Jordan Harris and Justin Harris and wife Brittany; her great-niece, Bethany Harris; sisters-in-law, Nellie Roark, Estellene Lichliter and Judy Farris; mother-in-law, Dora Ridge; along with a host of other family members and friends who will deeply miss her.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, James Harris; her great-niece, Peyton Harris; and her sister-in-law, Brenda Kay Couch.

Shelia attended Corinth Missionary Baptist Church in Corbin. She devoted her life to caring for her home and family, whom she cherished above all else. She treasured every moment spent with her grandbabies and enjoyed traveling and thrift shopping with her daughter. She was proud to be a Kentucky Colonel and valued having a close-knit, loving family.

Shelia was a faithful member of Corinth Missionary Baptist Church in Corbin. A devoted homemaker, she poured her heart into caring for her family, finding joy in the simple, everyday moments-sharing meals, laughing together, and creating a home filled with love. Her family was the center of her world, and she especially cherished every moment spent with her precious grandbabies. Some of her happiest times were traveling or thrift shopping with her daughter, making memories they would hold onto forever. She was also proud to be honored as a Kentucky Colonel.

Shelia Ann Lichliter peacefully entered her eternal rest on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at the age of 68 years, 8 months, and 29 days. Her love, compassion, and gentle spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

The funeral service for Shelia Ann Lichliter will be conducted at 12 noon Thursday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily.
The family will receive friends beginning at 6 pm Wednesday at Bowling Funeral Home.
