Services will be private. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
John was born February 16, 1949, in Dalhart, TX to Robert and Evalyn Goodwin.
When not working as a loan officer, John enjoyed golfing. He was such a great golfer that he was sought after for lessons. And, when not golfing, John enjoyed playing with his two dogs, Baron and Azalea.
Survivors include his wife, Jeane Goodwin, of Amarillo, TX; stepson, Bobby Dye, of Idaho; brother, Bill Goodwin; and several nieces and nephews.
