It is with deep sympathy that we announce the passing of Johnny L. Griffin Jr. on April 10, 2025, at the age of 56. He was a loving father of one daughter, loving brother and uncle. Johnny also known as Johhny Grip or Uncle jr. was born June 2, 1968, in Tuscaloosa, AL to Johnny Griffin Sr. and Arether Johnson. Later in life he accepted Christ into his heart. He loved to read, study the bible and enjoyed being outdoors. Johnny was proceeded in death by his father Johnny Griffin Sr. and mother Arether Johnson Griffin. He is survived by his daughter Arika Martin (Bessemer, AL), sister Anita Diaz (Tuscaloosa, AL), nephew LaDarious Sanders (Tuscaloosa, AL), nieces Shondrelle Sanders (Augusta, GA) and Iyana Diaz (Tuscaloosa, AL) , along with other sisters and brother, relatives and friends. Final arrangements entrusted to Nashville Funeral and Cremation in Nashville, TN.
