Johnny has been a member of Skirum Methodist Church since 1961. He owned Hall's Foodland in Collinsville for 28 years. He worked for Kelly Dover at Dover's store in Crossville when he was 17 and learned the grocery business from Him. He bought his own store in Collinsville in 1976 and ran a successful business until he retired in 2004. He enjoyed traveling, especially with his family. In the summer he enjoyed tending his garden. He most loved his family and spending time with them.
