Johnny Lane Obituary
Johnny Lee Lane, 73, of White Pine, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 12, 2024. He was a decorated Army Veteran, including having received a Purple Heart among several other medals, from his time serving in Vietnam.
Johnny enjoyed 'coon hunting, fishing, flying rolling pigeons and growing beautiful trees, flowers and bushes all around his property.
He is survived by his wife and best friend of 50 years, Linda J. Lane. Brother Tom Lane (Martha), sisters Kay Parton (David), Sue Tipton (Everett), Rita Helton (Jim), Linda Lane and Becky Harvel. He is preceded in death by his parents Mack and Thelma Lane, brothers, Jim Lane, Jerry Lane and Mickey Crocker and sister Mary Velez. Special nephews Scott Purkey, Robbie Purkey and Tommy Lee Lane. Special great nephew and hunting buddy, Brody Lane, great nephew Tyler Purkey and great niece Shiann Purkey as well as several other nieces and nephews he loved dearly and they loved and adored him.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, 6:00pm in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home, White Pine, with Gary Parker officiating, family will receive friends between the hours of 4:00pm and 6:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 in White Pine Cemetery at 11:00am.
