Johnny L. Morris Jr., age 75, passed away on March 16, 2026, at 10:35 am, at his residence. Johnny was born on September 16, 1950, in Phenix City, AL, to the late Johnny L. Morris Sr. and Lula B. (Clay) Tomlinson who survives in Lima.
In addition to his mother, Johnny is survived by a son, Irendis Johnson of Lima, OH, his siblings, Essie Morris of Columbus, OH, Mary Johnson of Huntsville, AL, Alice Jones of Milwaukee, WI, Curtis (Joyce) Johnson of Columbus, OH, Teresa (Rodney) Ward of Rochester Hills, MI, Carolyn Jackson of Lima, OH, Shawnda (Robert) Morris of Lima, OH, and Dewayne (Rosalia) Spears of Columbus, OH, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Amos Johnson.
Johnny was a loving and kind person who always enjoyed a good joke. He also liked playing cards with family and friends, fishing and shooting pool..
According to the wishes of the family, Johnny will be cremated and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date. His cremated remains will be scattered at his various favorite fishing spots.The CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL is honored to be assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
