JOHNNY ROBERT NETTIK SR. Johnny passed away of natural causes at the family home in Rocky Ford on the morning of March 25, 2024. He was 72 years old. Johnny was born in Wichita Falls, Texas to Bobbie Marjetta Brookover and Walter Nettik. Johnny was the second oldest of 5 sons. Dean (Sara) Thompson, Richard (Claire) White, Victor White, and Danny (Rebecca) Nettik. Johnny married Luanne Hawkins in November 1973. They have three children, Ashley (Diego) Sanudo, Alisha (James) Nettik, & Johnny (Tracy) Nettik; and 10 grandchildren, Kendra Trujillo, Abel Trujillo, Marjetta Wilcox, Laylen Black, Kailene Black, Robert Kimber, Ethan Nettik, Michaela (Alex) Lannon, Larissa and Xy Randall. Johnny worked for the electric company in Rocky Ford as a lineman from 1983 to 2013. Johnny loved to cook and would often bring breakfast/lunch for the other lineman. In his free time, Johnny enjoyed fishing and hunting. Johnny was a loving father, grandfather and friend. The Nettik family is going to have a cremation and a celebration of life at a later date.
