Johnny Depriest Parker, 40, of Elkhart, IN passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at Elkhart General Hospital. Johnny was born to Dennis Burkes and Patricia Parker on December 1, 1983 in Elkhart, IN. Johnny married Jessica Smith on February 23, 2008 at Greater Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Elkhart, IN.
Johnny worked at Thor Industries in Elkhart in the cabinet shop. He was a also a barber. He enjoyed painting cars, shooting pool, bowling with his friends and family, playing basketball, riding go carts and shooting paint balls. His truly love was spending time with his family and friends going on a road trip or going to a cook out. He will be sadly missed.
Johnny is survived by his wife of 16 years, Jessica Parker; father Dennis (Terrie) Burkes of Indianapolis, IN., mother Patricia Parker of Ft. Wayne, IN; children Markel Morris Amari Morris and Jaevon Parker all of Elkhart, IN; siblings Angela Douglas of Elkhart, IN, Dennis Parker of Ft. Wayne, IN., and Mary (Mark) Lee of Indianapolis, IN; nieces and nephews, Kierra, Tayajhe, Nyajae, Ar’Jhanae, Ar’Neesha, Trisha, Jourdon, Jreu, Zola, Jaceian, Jaydin, Aariyah, MyJae and Kyra; God children Tyjuan, Tylar Jr. and Lemier; God brotherJermaine David, Thswjuan Bonds and Lenard Lave.
Visitation will be from 11 am -12 pm on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Agape Missionary Baptist Church, 248 West Wolf, Ave., Elkhart, IN 46516 where funeral services will be held at 12pm.
