Johnny's journey began in Atlanta, a city that shaped his character and spirit. After completing his education, he nobly served his country as a proud member of the U.S. Army, where he developed a strong sense of duty and honor. Following his military service, Johnny pursued a career as a mechanic, a testament to his passion for fixing things and helping others. He dedicated many years to Costal Auto, where he was not only admired for his skill and craftsmanship but also for his unwavering work ethic and integrity.

A man of simple pleasures, Johnny found immense joy in the everyday moments-sharing a laugh with friends, tinkering in his garage, and spending quality time with his family. He was a pillar of strength and support to those who knew him, always available with a lending hand or a listening ear.

Family and friends will gather to honor Johnny's life and legacy with a visitation at Gregory B. Levett and Son Funeral Home - Flat Shoals Location in Decatur, Georgia, on Wednesday, February 11th, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. His Celebration of Life will follow at the same venue on Thursday, February 12th, 2026, at 11:00 am. Johnny will be laid to rest at Southview Cemetery in Atlanta, GA, with an internment service from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm on the same day.
