Johnny William Stewart, Sr., 85
Johnny William Stewart, Sr. died October 21, 2025. He was born December 30, 1939 in Cairo, Georgia. A resident of Alva, Florida for 60 years, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing guitar and fiddle, and collecting tractors.
Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Stewart; mother, Lucy Bell Stewart; brothers, Owen Stewart, Leeland Stewart, and Tim Stewart; and grandson, Neal-Jay Hull.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Bettie Sue Stewart, of Alva, Florida; son, Johnny Stewart, Jr. (Kim); daughter, Becky Hull, of Alva, Florida; six grandchildren, Tabitha Krupicka (James), Brandon Stewart (Kayla), Bryant Stewart, Tyler Stewart, and Dylan Stewart; three great grandchildren, Jameson Krupicka, Sophia Stewart, and Michael Stewart; brothers, David Stewart (Julie), Douglas Stewart (Wanda), and Kenneth Stewart (Linda), all of Cairo, Georgia; and sisters, Monteen Stewart, Margaret Stewart Chason, Martha Stewart Roland, Patsy Stewart, Evelyn Stewart Cox (Jimmy), and Cathy Stewart Greene (Dale), all of Cairo, Georgia.
Graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Monday, October 27, 2025 at Alva Cemetery.
