Johnny Votaw Obituary
Johnny loved watching Kentucky Basketball, wrestling, NASCAR racing, the Price is Right, listening to CB Radio, and playing lottery scratch off tickets. In his younger years he enjoyed riding motorcycles.
He is survived by, by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, several cousins, friends and Harrodsburg Health and Rehab Staff.
He is preceded in death by his parents John C. and Edna Votaw; Brothers: Freddie Votaw, Billy W. Votaw Sr., Burchel Votaw and Jimmy Votaw, and Sisters Loretta Votaw and Ruby Gerlach.
The funeral will be 1pm on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E. Lexington Street, Harrodsburg, KY with Jacob Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in Lancaster Cemetery, 205 Crab Orchard St, Lancaster, KY 40444 (near Campbell and Richmond St). Visitation will be Friday January 30, 2026 from 10am-1pm at Ransdell's Funeral Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Chris Baker, Billy Votaw Jr., Tim Baker, Mike Baker, Lane Baker and Michael Royalty.
The family would like to thank each and everyone at Harrodsburg Health for all their love, care and compassion.
