Johnny Shau-Lin Wang

Johnny Shau-Lin Wang, 78, of Las Vegas, Nevada, entered into eternal rest and went to be with the Lord on February 10, 2026, passing peacefully in his sleep. Johnny was born on April 30, 1947, in Chungking, China, to General Henry Wang and the Reverend Hu-Sho-En Wang. In 1949, he moved with his family to Taiwan, where he attended Fu-Shang High School in Pei-Tou. He was a natural leader and athlete.

In 1971, Johnny immigrated to the United States and proudly became a citizen of the USA. He pursued higher education in California, earning a Master's degree from the California Institute of Technology. He worked as a computer analyst and accountant for many years. Driven by his deep love for his adopted country, Johnny served as Sergeant in the U.S. Army until his honorable retirement in 1977. In his later years, he lived in Las Vegas, NV. Johnny was a man of lively spirit. He played the guitar, loved to dance, and had a passion for the music of Paul Anka, Elvis Presley, and Frank Sinatra.

The Chapel Service is scheduled for Friday April 24, 2026 at 10:00am with the gravesite ceremony to follow at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005.
