Johnny Whitehead Obituary
Johnny M. Whitehead, age 58 of Glennville passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Georgia Hospice Care. He was born on July 30, 1966 in Bartow, Florida to Larry and Sandra Cook Whitehead and had lived in Glennville for the past 40 years. Johnny enjoyed driving semi trucks and in his spare time he loved to fish and spend time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Shyrle Whitehead of Glennville; children, Amanda (Collin) Whitehead and Jonathan (Casper) Whitehead all of Statesboro; step-children, Crystal (Angel) Santiago of Brunswick and Billy Langley of Ludowici; brothers, Thomas Whitehead and Larry Whitehead; also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be held.
Glennville Funeral Home has the honor to serve the Whitehead family.
