Johnny was born January 16, 1948 in Palestine to Fines and Myrtle Woodard. He attended schools in Hedley before he enlisted in the US Navy in 1968. Johnny could play just about any song on the guitar. Johnny rarely would sing and play alone; he always would have Keith Roberson assisting him. Johnny spent many hours playing his guitar and singing to his special granddaughter, Jenna. He enjoyed going to the nursing homes and senior citizens to sing old hymns and to share the love of the Lord.

Johnny loved to fish and use his John Deer tractor for just about anything. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone. Johnny will be missed by his friends and family.
