The memorial service celebrating the life of Jolene Samuelson will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church located at Parkers Prairie, MN, with Pastor Kirk Lee presiding. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery near Wrightstown, MN.
Jolene passed away at the age of 61, on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at CentraCare hospital in St. Cloud, with her family at her side.
Jolene was born one of four children to Robert and Joyce (Stoltz) Stine on March 16, 1964, in Perham, MN. She grew up in Wadena where she attended school and graduated with the Class of 1982.
On July 23, 1983, Jolene was united in marriage with the love of her life, Ralph "Greg" Samuelson of Bertha, at Sunnybrook Park in Wadena. They built their home near Parkers Prairie where they were blessed with four children, Matthew, Kyle, Eric and Ashlee. In addition to working at home, Jolene was employed at Ben Franklin in Wadena for many years. She was a proud grandmother of 17 grandchildren, who loved spending time with them. She was always there for them, being their number one fan at all their events. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to many. She leaves behind a legacy of love for her family, especially her grandchildren.
Preceding Jolene in death were her parents, Robert and Joyce; and mother-in-law, Darlene (Hopp) Samuelson.
Forever remembering Jolene will be her loving husband of 42 years, Ralph "Greg" of Parkers Prairie; children: Matthew (special friend, Tanya Kline) of Henning, Kyle (Stacy Aldrich) Samuelson of Alexandria, Eric (special friend, Kayla Benke) of Hewitt and Ashlee (David) Mikel of Verndale; her grandchildren; siblings: Dale Stine (Sherye Siegford), Loreen Stine (John Warren), Sheldon Stine (Candi Costner-Jensen); father-in-law, Ralph Samuelson; along with extended family and friends.
Honorary urn bearers will be all of Jolene's loving grandchildren.
