Speer Funeral Home - AledoJon A. Cutler, 57 of Seaton, died Monday, September 8, 2025, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Illinois. To celebrate Jon's life, the family asks you to join them at Jim's Knoxville Tap, Milan, Illinois on November 8th from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Private family burial will be held. Memorials may be made to the family.
Jon Allen Cutler was born on June 11, 1968, in Moline, Illinois to Richard Allen & Linda (Hall) Cutler. He graduated from Sherrard High School in 1986.
Jon was a people person who loved to be where the action was. He especially loved going to Renaissance Fairs, where he developed a love for swords. Jon enjoyed watching Sci Fi movies and was a Chicago Bears Fan. His faithful canine companion was Moss, but he also loved his mom’s cat, Binx.
Jon is survived by his mother, Linda Pierson; stepfather, Mike Bosold; siblings: Jennifer Beattie and Rich & Susan Bosold; a son, Mark Cutler; 2 granddaughters; nephew, Daniel Beattie; nieces, Kaitlyn & Julia Bosold; great-nephew, Brixton Beattie; best friends, Bill Sherrell and Cindy Young. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard A. Cutler and a nephew, Logan Beattie.
