Jon Robert Fontane

Fontane, Jon Robert, age 53, of Glen Rock, on Thursday, June 5, 2025. Born in Ridgewood and raised in North Haledon, Jon attended Colorado University, where he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Fraternity. After receiving his MBA from William Paterson University, he worked in various positions, most recently as the Senior Manager of Conferences at for Gartner in Stamford, CT. Jon was an avid in-home chef and mixologist. He was also a talented figure skater and loved skiing.
Jon was the beloved husband of Kristin Clark and cherished her children, Julie and Claire Clark, as his own. Loving son of Elda Fontane (nee: Pasquale) of North Haledon and the late Robert Fontane (2018). Dear brother of Tina Montrone and her husband Paul of Glen Rock. Dearest uncle of Charlie and Magnolia Montrone.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Monday, June 9, 2025 at the Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church in Franklin Lakes. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum in Paterson. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00-5:00pm on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Ave., Hawthorne.
