Jon LeBar, born in Manila, Philippines, on October 22, 1956, to missionary parents, spent his life serving both his family and his faith. He was raised in LaGrange, Wyoming, where his parents helped found Frontier School of the Bible - a place that deeply shaped his love for the Lord.

A contractor by trade, Jon laid more than just concrete - he laid a foundation of integrity, devotion, and faith. He knew that just as no house can stand without a firm foundation, neither can a life without a strong relationship with Jesus. His work, whether on a job site or in someone's heart, reflected that truth. From Arizona to South Dakota, his projects stood as physical reminders of what he believed spiritually: that when Christ is your foundation, you can withstand any storm. Known for powering through long days with just a Snickers, a Pepsi, and maybe a sub sandwich, Jon believed in finishing strong - both in work and in life.

Jon also spent time behind the pulpit, where his passion for preaching could be felt by all who listened. His sermons weren't just words - they were an extension of the life he lived: committed, honest, and rooted in Christ.

He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and his siblings - all of whom carry a part of his legacy forward.

He has fought the good fight and finished well.

His final word was simple and powerful: "Jesus."

And with that, we know exactly where he is.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Corner Stone Bible Institute on October 25th, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., with a special time of sharing beginning at 2:00 p.m. and refreshments to follow.
