Jon Vincent Pask, age 62 years, of Readington Township, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday morning, March 29, 2026, at his residence. Born on September 18, 1963, in Flemington, New Jersey, Jon was the son of the late Walter and Zena Pask. He was a life-long Hunterdon County, NJ resident.
Jon's professional journey was marked by his long tenure as the facilities manager for the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York in Jersey City, New Jersey. His commitment to maintaining and improving the bank’s infrastructure was a testament to his diligence and expertise. Beyond his career, he was once an active member of the Flemington Elks #1928, reflecting his involvement in community and social organizations.
He was widely known as "the cool uncle" and for his love of movie quotes, often delighting those around him with his quick wit and the perfect line for every occasion. His great sense of humor was a defining trait that endeared him to family, friends, and colleagues alike. Jon always looked forward to the annual family summer reunion. The family extends heartfelt thanks to all who touched Jon’s life and helped make it as exceptional as he was.
Jon’s interests extended well beyond his professional life. A devoted car enthusiast, he embraced the world of hot rods and enjoyed racing. He regularly attended NASCAR and drag racing events, as well as car shows, where he found camaraderie and joy among fellow enthusiasts. Additionally, Jon was an avid golfer, using the game not only as a leisure pursuit but also as a way to connect with others and unwind.
Jon is survived by his three siblings—Cheryl Coulombe, Linda Martino, and Vlad Pask—along with his girlfriend, Ruth Tannahill. His extended family includes several nieces, nephews, and cousins who will carry forward his memory. He was predeceased by his sister, Anita Chaballa, and his parents.
He will be remembered with respect and fondness for the unique spirit he brought to every endeavor in life.
