Jon M. Springmeyer, of Ironton, entered eternal rest on January 21, 2026, at the age of 78. He was born on June 3, 1947, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late William and Margaret (Sigillito) Springmeyer.
Jon is survived by his children, David Springmeyer (Karen), Stephanie Owens (Tim), and Marnie O’Brien (Mark); his grandchildren, Olivia, Justin, Natalie, Mark, and Jessica; his great-grandchildren, Amelia, Iva, Cecilia, and Hazel; his loving friend, Mary Miller; his bonus children, Dione Daughtery, Ali Miller, John Miller, and Nathan Miller; his bonus grandchildren, Tyler, Zach, Caleb, Braden, Riley, Colton, Caiden, Brody, and Gracie; his sister, June Coffin; and his nieces, Jennifer Coffin and Joanna Fiehler (Tagg).
In addition to his parents, Jon was preceded in death by his brother, David Springmeyer, and his brother-in-law, Richard Coffin.
Jon enjoyed life’s simple pleasures and the time he spent with those he loved. He especially loved sitting around campfires, enjoying a cold Busch Light, and riding side-by-sides. These moments brought him joy and laughter and will forever be cherished by his family and friends.
A memorial visitation will be held at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 p.m officiated by Pastor Judy Richardson. Share your memories and condolences at cozeanfuneralhome.com
