Jon Vincent Williams

Jon Vincent Williams was born on August 8,1965 to parents J.D. and Nelmer R. Williams. He lived a life rooted in faith, service, and love for others.
Vincent dedicated over 30 years of service to Baylor Scott & White Hospital, where he was known for his strong work ethic, kind heart, and willingness to help others. His commitment to his work reflected the same dedication he carried in every area of his life.
On December 17, 2025, Vincent entered eternal life from the comfort of his home. He was a man of deep faith who loved God wholeheartedly. Vincent lived a life grounded in belief, prayer, and praise, often sharing his faith through laughter, joy, and music. Anyone who knew Vincent knew his sense of humor, he was always full of jokes, his laughter contagious, and his spirit uplifting.
Vincent was the kind of man who made ordinary moments memorable. He lived with joy and an unapologetic love for God. His faith was not just something he spoke about, it was something he lived every single day.
He was preceded in death by loved ones who welcomed him home. Parents, brother- Tuney M. Collins, McQueaster Collins, Cedric Williams, and sister- Pat Potts.
Left to cherish his memories are his children: Melinda Ellis and husband Marvin of Sherman, Texas; Vinetta Williams; and Jerica Williams, both of Durant, Oklahoma, Fiancé Shalonda Patrick.
He is also survived by his brothers: Larry Collins of Louisville, Kentucky; Mandell Collins and wife Wanda of Denison, Texas; and Bernard Shelton of Dallas, Texas, sisters: Melva Hunter and husband Henry of Tucson, Arizona; Chanta Brown and Shryl Cathcart of Denison, Texas; Madeline Brown of Sherman, Texas; Carol Crossley and husband Rodney of Fort Worth, Texas; and Mary Brantley of Cedar Hill, Texas.
Vincent also leaves behind four grandchildren, along with many other relatives and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Though he will be deeply missed, we rejoice knowing Vincent is now resting in the presence of the Lord he loved so deeply.
