Jonas McCarvey Berwick

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jonas McCarvey Berwick, who left us on February 18, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on June 28, 1962, in London, England, to the late Donald and Norma McCarvey Berwick, Jonas was a man of many passions and a cherished presence in the lives of his family and friends.
A devoted father, Jonas is survived by his beloved sons, Jesse, Nicholas, and Jackson, mother of his children, Cindy, as well as his brother, Sam, sister-in-law Rosie, and nieces and nephews Angus, Katie, Alice and James. He was a proud holder of dual citizenship, having called both England and the United States his home. Jonas spent his professional life as a dedicated private investigator, applying his keen intellect, determination, curiosity and unwavering sense of ethics to his work, enabling him to form his own business, Delve Information Resources, and work with so many wonderful people, including his beloved office manager, Roxanne.
Jonas was a true enthusiast at heart. He had a special love for motorcycles, often taking long rides to explore the open road, many times with his son Jesse. His passion for technology kept him curious and engaged, always seeking out the latest gadgets and innovations, and this passion is shared deeply by his sons, Nicholas and Jackson. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including his love for classic television shows like "Seinfeld" and "Everybody Loves Raymond," which the whole family enjoyed with him.
A devoted pet owner, Jonas found great companionship in his dogs, especially his beloved Bogart, and he took great pride in his relationships with his boys, never missing an opportunity to spend quality time with them. He had a knack for making those around him feel valued and appreciated, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him with his sense of humor.
A celebration to honor Jonas's life will be held on March 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel. Prior to the service, there will be a visitation from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, allowing friends and family to gather and share their memories of Jonas.
Jonas McCarvey Berwick will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his warmth, humor, and unyielding spirit. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter in the hearts of those who knew him.
