He leaves to cherish his loving memory his devoted wife of 53 years, Edna Bryant; and his children: Cherri Ann Harvin, Chanda (Derrick) Calhoun, Gideon Bennette, Brian Harvey Sr., Janean Harvey, Bobby Jean Bryant, Florence Bryant, Tacara Jones, Gregory Bryant Sr., and Dominetria Bryant.
He is also survived by his sisters, Etherine Bryant and Carolyn Hornsby; and his brothers, James Bryant and Jimmy (Sandra) Bryant.
Sisters-in-law include Priscilla Woolfolk and Bobbie Bryant.
Jonas was blessed with a large and loving family, including his grandchildren:
Davon Gordon, Keith Harvey Jr., Tamyria Harvey, Keondra Harvey, Kendra Harvey, Ricky Charles, John Thomas, Jarvis Thomas, Derrick Calhoun Jr., Fortune Calhoun, Erick Calhoun, Cassa Calhoun, Deairaka Calhoun, Devon Calhoun, Octavious Bryant, Jerlisa Bryant, Kershell Calhoun, Rashad Brooks, D'Keria Calhoun, D'Quazha Calhoun, Darius Calhoun, Gregory Bryant Jr., Geniah Bryant, K'Armani Ladson, Myrkle Mixon, Galiyah Bryant, Geneariah Bryant, Irreyanna Davis, Kevon Harvey, Brian Harvey Jr., Ty'Joun Harvey, Zion Harvey, Briniyah Harvey, Marquis Calhoun, Cali Bryant, Ziaela Bryant, Jasmine Calhoun, Jayden Calhoun, and Gia Bryant.
He also leaves behind 51 great-grandchildren, bonus daughters Tally (Claude) Irons, Tina Peacock, Kadence Fredrick, Carolyn Bradwell, Aisha (Jerri) Roberts, Ashley Marchese, and Annette Ingram, Stacy Johnson; and godchildren Terry Lindsey, Ronnie Brown, Wilkie Jewett, Curtis Hicks, and Isaiah "Toedoe" Powell.
Special nieces include Sharon (Steve) and Belinda (Kurt) Devaughn of Alabama.
Special nephews include Tracy Carson, Twan Bryant, Michelle (Chad) Lane, and Stephanie Woolfolk.
He also shared a special friendship with Earnest "Bimbo" and Carolyn (Troy) Green, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
