Jonathan Emanuel Arias,

"It’s with broken hearts and full spirits that we say goodbye to our beloved Jonathan—known to many simply as Jon. Born on October 8th, 1995, Jon was the kind of person who could walk into a room and instantly lift it. His smile was contagious, his energy pure sunshine, and his heart always open.

Jon was the kind of person who didn’t need to say much to make an impact. His smile did most of the talking—it was warm, magnetic, and had a way of making you feel heard & seen leaving you with the sense that everything was going to be okay.

Jon was the guy who made you laugh when you needed it most, who checked in just because, and who never let anyone feel alone. He had a light-hearted soul and a way of making life feel a little easier, a little brighter, just by being in it.

He lived life on his own terms. He loved deeply, cared fiercely, and never hesitated to help someone out. He understood struggle, and that made him even more compassionate.

Jon lived with purpose—even now, he’s still giving. Through his tissue donation, Jon is offering second chances to people he never met, continuing his legacy of kindness and care.

He leaves behind a family who adored him: his mom Martha, his dad Manuel, and his two sisters Evelyn and Janette. He also leaves behind a crew of best friends who stuck by him through thick and thin, cousins who were more like siblings, and so many others who loved him deeply.

We invite everyone who knew him to celebrate his 29 years of life—a life packed with laughter, love, unforgettable memories, and lots of wheelies.

Though we’re heartbroken, we’re also grateful. Grateful to have known him, loved him, and been loved by him.

Jon’s spirit isn’t gone—it’s everywhere. In the stories we tell, the hugs we share, and the quiet moments when we feel him near. He’s with us, always.

He may be physically gone, but his spirit is in the roar of a motorcycle engine, in the warmth of a sunny day, in the quiet comfort of knowing he’s still watching over us.

Ride free & keep chasing the wind, Jon. We’ll all carry a piece of you; always.
