Jonathan Edward Brickman

Jonathan Edward Brickman of Topeka, Kansas is survived by his dear wife of 28 years, Thyde "Lori" Brickman of Lawrence, Kansas.
The beloved son of Norman and Barbara Brickman of Potomac, Maryland, he is in the sibling of Melanie ( Harry) Dankowicz and Aaron Brickman (Anne Seymour) and uncle to Even, Lia, Zachary, Aviva, Dalya, and Micah.
A uniquely gifted musician, Jonathan was an accomplished pianist, a devoted band member with whom he recorded the CD Ponderworthy Ad Astra as well as his solo album Ponderworthy One and a prolific composer and improvisor with the ability to accompany anyone on the spot. He was admired and loved in the community and freely shared his music with others through churches, community events and charitable causes. Jonathan was an avid project enthusiast and technology tinkerer, a skilled harmonica player, and an adventurous conversationalist, a deep thinker with a love for talking with others and a living passion for religion and community. He founded "Ponderworthy" and positively impacted many lives.
Professionally, as an IT systems technician, he provided innovative and reliable engineering and support solutions. With his creative and generous and loving spirit he will be remembered for his lifelong love of learning, listening and giving thoughtful insight to all who were blessed to know him.
His greatest passion was his love for his "Sweet Lori". The two were inseparable.
A memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Highland Heights Christian Church located at 2930 SE Tecumseh Road in Topeka, Kansas.
