Malissa and Sara, I am so sorry for your loss. Your dad was a wonderful man and lived life to the fullest on his terms. He loved his girls and friends with a passion. He will truly be missed by all that knew him. God bless you John.

Jonathan was such a pleasure to work with at the Tax Department. He always had a smile and he was always looking to do the right thing. His memory and love will linger with all of us as we fulfill his wish to love and hug our family.

To the Carr Family:
There are no words... Jon was an exceptional man. He always had a kind word, gave everyone the benefit of the doubt, and tried to see the good in all. If you were considered a friend, you were part of the family. Jon didn't know any other way. When I saw him a couple of weeks ago your Dad knew his prognosis and as I cried at what I knew would be everyone's loss, he said to me "Dont cry... Not for me... I wanted to teach people, show them different ways. I think I've done that. I don't want people sad that I'm gone... I want them to live, to be happy and to teach the things I've shown them to others" I cried harder. Jon was a friend and a mentor; he loved us warts and all because that was just how he was.
Like everyone else, I have little slices of him woven into my life... Things he'd say, mannerisms.. I never left without a smile at something he'd said... And I know I'll carry those with me always.
Jon ... I miss you my friend. I miss your infectious smile and laugh... I miss all the times you called me kid... I miss the way you told stories and the spins that only you would've thought to put on them...thank you for all that you've given and brought to my life. You were a teacher Jon...and a great one!
I hope you're with your Kim and finally at peace. I love you buddy...
