Jonathan James Chavira ,39, passed away unexpectedly on December 31, 2025 in
Pueblo, Colorado. Born on July 21, 1986 in
Pueblo, Colorado, Jonathan was the youngest child of Jesus and Juanita Chavira.
Jonathan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Placido and Josefa Chavira-Rodriguez, Manuel and Carmen Alvarado, his niece Tammy Chavira, Sister-in-law Samantha Montgomery, aunts and uncle, Mary Anzaldua and Sonny Crespin, Berta and John Ray, uncle Mercedes Chavira and his dogs Bubba and Apocalypse.
He grew up and attended schools in Pueblo, it is while attending Pueblo County High School he met the mother of his amazing boys. Jonathan was the baby of his family and of course that meant he got teased and picked on by his older siblings growing up except his older sister Joann she would protect him from his siblings. Jonathan grew up going to church at Landmark Apostolic Assembly where he made many friends. Jonathan was a hilarious person and could make jokes about almost any situation. He loved working on cars so much he went to college to become an automotive technician. Jonathan loved his blue Dodge Ram and almost everyone had a story about him and his truck. He loved to listen to country music unless he was mad then it was usually rock music and he used to love blast mexican music out of his blue truck. Jonathan loved camping, fishing, and hunting. He was a simple man who loved to live a simple and free life but most of all he loved his children and family.
Jonathan leaves behind to cherish his memory his children Jonathan, Jake, Eli, Isaac and Isabella Chavira, his parents Jesus and Juanita Chavira, his siblings Manuel (Clara) Chavira, Joann (Mike) Quintana, Jessica (Johnny) Sanchez and Josh Chavira, nephews and nieces of uncles Cotton club Josiah Scott, Chris Scott, Caleb Scott, J.J. Chavira, Dawn Chavira, Jonah Chavira, Judah Chavira, Elena Chavira, Trent Quintana, Cruz Scott, Dero Scott and Lilith Scott and uncles twin monsters as he affectionately called them Robbie Sanchez and Vinnie Sanchez, uncles and aunties, Eppie Anzaldua, Rosa Alvarado, Maggie (Paul) Whitfield, Carmen Alvarado, Antonia Chavira, Isabel Chavira and Rosalia (Antonio) Mendoza, the mother of his amazing boys Audri Chavez, his best friend Kevin Duran, numerous cousins, extended family and friends.
A private memorial service will be held for his Family and friends.
