Jonathan Wayne Childers born September 18, 1971, in Claremore, Oklahoma left this world on September 20, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at 54 years of age.
John was a true gentle giant. A big intimidating looking man with a heart bigger than his body could hold. He loved so many things, favorite movie being the Conspiracy Theory, cooking on his smoker, and family gatherings were just some of his favorite things. John definitely loved a good conversation, and he had plenty to talk about. The thing he loved most though was spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He opened them to so many new things and adventures like taking them to the fair and the movies. He would always attend their birthday parties and would spend his last dime if he thought he found something they would like. John never spoke an angry word towards anyone. He never changed for anyone; he had the same demeanor no matter what the situation. When you needed anything at all you just needed to say the word and there he was. This big quiet man has changed us all for the better just by knowing him and taught us so much. He will never know just what a large impact he had on so many people, or the hole that can never be filled.
John is survived by his mother Anita Childers. His sisters Dawn Childers and Eliza Childers-Carroll. Two Brothers, Richard Dollarhide and Duane Bark. John also leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephews; Courtney Carroll and son Kole, Brittany and Jett Rogers and son Kolt, Shelby Carroll, Gracey Carroll, Douglas Carroll, Krysta Dollarhide and daughter Aurora, Isabella Dollarhide, Erickson Bark and Falon Bark. He leaves behind a large family of aunts, uncles, and cousins along with many friends.
John is preceded in death by his grandparents Todum and Annie (Peters) Hair. His uncles Richard Chewey, Andrew, and Earl Hair. One brother Todd Bark and his cousin Talitha Turner.
