Jonathan Paul Davis, age 26 of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 22, 2023. He was born July 29, 1997 in Indianapolis, the son of John Paul and Lisa Rose (Brown) Davis. Jonathan was a member of the class of 2016 at Emmanuel High School. He worked in the landscaping business and also drove a tow truck at a previous job. Jonathan was incredibly kind hearted, fun to be around and always had a smile on his face. His family meant the world to him. He liked to spend time with his mom watching movies and hanging out with his siblings. Jonathan loved nothing more in the world than being a dad to his son, Owen. He enjoyed playing with him, reading to him and simply being with him. Jonathan will be remembered as loving father, son and brother.
Jonathan is survived by his son, Owen William Davis; parents, John and Lisa Davis; 5 siblings, Bobby Thompson, Josh Thompson, Eric Thompson, Brittney Brown and Chelsea Davis; Uncles and Aunts, Donny Davis, Bruce Brown, Simon (Juanita) Blight, Penny Mason and Cindy Brown; significant other, Sarah Sombrio; and several extended family members and friends.
Jonathan is preceded in death by his grandparents.
A funeral service celebrating Jonathan's life will take place at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 925 E. Hanna Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46227. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 925 E. Hanna Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46227. Burial will follow the funeral on Wednesday at Concordia Cemetery in Indianapolis.
