JONATHAN "JON" H. EDWARDS, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025 in Einstein Montgomery Hospital of East Norriton.

Mr. Edwards, a resident of Swedesburg, was born on October 15,1947 in Bryn Mawr, Pa. He was the son of the late George Joseph and Mary Helen (Yuckna) Edwards and the devoted husband of the late Carmelena (Churchill) Edwards who passed away in 2021.

He was a faithful member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church of Swedesburg and a former member of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church of Bridgeport. He deeply valued his Catholic faith and the sense of community it brought him throughout his life.

Mr. Edwards was a graduate of St. Matthew's High School Class of 1965. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. Following his service, he worked at Wards Chocolate for 10 years before continuing his career in hospitality, serving as the bar manager at the Homestead Inn in Horsham and then at Pepper's Italian Restaurant in King of Prussia. He went on to work for the Montgomery County Courthouse in the Facilities Department, where he was a dedicated and well-respected employee until his retirement.

Mr. Edwards was a member of the former Saint Salvatore Society ("SSS") Club of Bridgeport and a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians ("AOH") of Swedesburg. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan but especially loved the Philadelphia Phillies. He took great pride in his extensive knowledge of baseball and baseball trivia. He was also an enthusiastic and lifelong reader who enjoyed learning and staying informed. Above all, he was a hardworking, loyal, and family-centered man. He cherished time with his loved ones and carried forward the values of dedication, faith, and love that he shared with his late wife, Carmelena.

Surviving are his three daughters: Karen McGrath (Thomas), Carol L. VanZandt, and Lauren E. Fell (Dustin); his grandchildren: Connor McGrath, Jacob McGrath, Rylie McGrath, Victor Fell, and Nina Fell; and his sister, Nancy Undercuffler. He was preceded in death by his brother, George Edwards. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at the Bernard S. Gutkowski Funeral Home, 305 Jefferson St. Swedesburg, Upper Merion Twp. (610) 275-6385, Keith J. Murphy F.D. A celebration of Life will be held at 11:30 A.M. at Screwballs Sports Bar and Grille, 216 West Beidler Rd. King of Prussia, Pa. 19406.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jon's name to Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Swedesburg PA.
