Alene Wetherington Obituary
Mrs. Wetherington was a daughter of the late Guy Franklin Williams and Effie Morton Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, G.W. Wetherington; and two brothers, Vernon and Wilton Williams.
Survivors include four daughters, Linda Hill of Jacksonville, Patsy Penuel and her husband, Ed of Swansboro, Pamela Long and her husband, Mark of Virginia Beach, VA and Kim Gibbles of Jacksonville; one brother, Milton Williams of Jacksonville; two sisters, Billie Haas of Swansboro and Mary Waller of Jacksonville; one grandson, Gregory Williams of Swansboro; and two great-grandchildren, Annie Long and Kyle Williams.
The family will receive friends Monday afternoon, prior to the service, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Swansboro Chapel.
