I am sorry to hear of Jon's passing. He was always good spirited and fun to be with. He enjoyed being a school photographer in high school. Wish I had stayed in contact with him over the years.

In Mrs. Beck's sixth grade geography class, we learned that the gauchos of Argentina used a bolo to bring down small game. I'm not sure what the assignment was, but Jon and I went to his basement and made a bolo out of 2 golf balls (we both were amazed at what happens when you drill into a golf ball) and a long leather shoelace. Mrs. Beck said, "Let's go try it." We hadn't really practiced, but with the whole class outside, she rolled a hula hoop across the playground. Like a true gaucho, Jon let it fly and brought the hoop down on the first try! Everyone applauded and it was very memorable for me. I will miss you Jon. R.I. P.

I was so sad to learn of Jon´s passing. I generally don´t recall specific events from my Creston years but I always remember how people made me feel. Jon had that happy, joyful presence that made me smile whenever he was around.

I was very sad to hear about Jon's passing. What I remember most was his great sense of humor. I was involved in a high school prank or two that were alluded to. Conodelences to his family and friends and may he RIP.
