Jonathan M. Heap, 34, of Oswego, IL, died suddenly on October 11, 2025, at his residence. He was born March 3, 1991, in Sandwich, IL.
He was a member of the Class of 2009 of Yorkville High School. After graduation, he began his mechanical ability at Plano Molding Co., JH Auto Repair, Mike's More Miles at Montgomery and Plainfield, IL. His hobbies were gardening, fishing and bowling in a league at Parkside Lanes. He was baptized and attended the Oswego Presbyterian Church in Oswego, IL.
He is survived by his parents, Douglas E and Susan L Heap; his paternal grandmother, Mary Heap, four aunts; two uncles; many cousins; and his fiancé, Haley Dant. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Edwin and Bettie Jean Hester; paternal grandfather, Lewis Heap; and uncle, Randy Hester.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Oswego Presbyterian Church, 1976 Rt 25, Oswego, IL, with the Rev. D.r Richard "Skip" Shaffer officiating. Interment will take place at the Oswego Township Cemetery in Oswego, IL.
