Rill Chapel Life Tribute Center Funeral Home & CrematoryJonathan “Jon” Henry Huebert of Port Orchard, Washington, passed away on October 3rd , 2025. Jon, also known to family and friends as “Jon Jon”, was only 55 years old at the time of his passing. He was just 15 days shy of his 56th birthday. Jon’s passing was due to an unexpected cardiac event that occurred without warning. The sudden loss has broken the hearts of his family and friends as he is greatly missed.
Jon was born on October 17th , 1969, in Bremerton, Washington, to parents Henry “Hank” Huebert and Antonia “Toni” Huebert. Jon was the baby of the family, being the youngest of four children. Jon’s father, Hank, instilled a passion for hunting and fishing in Jon’s heart from a young age. Jon was an avid outdoorsman who had achieved the status of Master Hunter.
Jon’s other passions included craftsman work, taxidermy (European mounts), and the collection of rare firearms and fishing rods. Jon had created several works of art that incorporated antlers, mounts, and outdoor themes. Additionally, Jon had a skilled hand at carving beautiful works of art into the handles of hunting knives and rifle stalks. He shared all these passions with his family and friends.
Jon will be remembered as a kind, caring, and giving individual. Jon would go out of his way to take care of his family and friends. He was dependable and always willing to help. This rang true until the day he passed as he was living at the family home to assist his mother with the estate.
Jon worked as a Meat Cutter for Costco in Silverdale, Washington, for 25 years before retiring in 2022 at the age of 52.
Jon was predeceased by his father Henry Huebert Jr. Surviving family members include: mother, Antonia Huebert; Brothers: David and Michael Huebert; Sister, Susan Knox; Nephew, Andrew Huebert, Nieces: Keeli Nelson, Elizabeth Huebert and Andrea Huhta (husband Caleb Huhta); Great Nephew, Kristoffer Huebert; and his beloved canine companion, Annie Rose.
