Jonathan Kulevsky Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hodroff-Epstein Memorial Chapel - St. Paul on Feb. 21, 2026.
Jonathan Louis Kulevsky was born on November 21, 1965 to Norman and Shirley Kulevsky in Grand Forks, North Dakota. His grandparents Lilian (z'l) and Louis Graff (z'l), residents of Detroit, and Max (z'l) and Jennie Kulevsky (z'l), residents of Brooklyn.

Jonathan was preceded in death by his father Norman Kulevsky (z'l).

His siblings are Andrea Kulevsky (Ed Stine) of Mandan, North Dakota, and Neil Kulevsky (Kristine Pinomaki Kulevsky) of Saint Louis Park, MN. He was the proud uncle to two nieces, Lilian and Greta Kulevsky.

As a child, Jon, as he preferred to be called, was a lover of legos, taking things apart to see how they work, and bicycling all over town. His family was not surprised that he became an engineer after graduating from Carnegie-Mellon University. After working in Phoenix, Arizona and Caro, Michigan, he settled in the Detroit area for the rest of his life.

During the course of his employment, he became the holder of several patents relating to fuel system technology.

He loved golf and participating in lengthy bicyling events. His work and leisure led him to travels to Belgium, Korea, France, and other countries.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 24th, at 10 AM at Mount Zion Cemetery, 1670 Payne Avenue, St. Paul.
