LAME DEER- Jonathan Mark Limpy Sr, "Griz" 58, of Lame Deer started his journey to the Happy Hunting Grounds on October 23rd 2024.
Jonathan graduated from school at Chemawa Indian School, moving back to Lame Deer where he later began his life with Suzette Seminole and had four children, Jarith, Jonathan, Jozette and Suzanne. Jonathan worked at NCTHA for a number of years where he fixed houses and other various things for the tribe. He was a hard worker and always took pride in providing for his family. Later on in life he met his first wife Russellyn Plainfeather and had three beautiful children Russell, Kathryn, and Benita. Then later had baby John Charles Limpy.
Jonathan was always being spontaneous and going on any adventure. He was sure a jokester and loved laughing, telling stories and teasing around. His favorite team was the Minnesota Vikings. He enjoyed watching TV with his children and being competitive while watching Jeopardy! And seeing who can get the most correct answers. He loved playing pool with his buddies, being an amazing father to all of his children and loved being a grandfather. He loved to hunt, fish, dance, sing and travel, always going somewhere for a drive or driving on the weekends to go see his wife Russellyn in Fort Belknap.
