Jonathan Marrotte Obituary
Jonathan M. Marrotte, 45, passed away on May 29, 2024, at Hartford Hospital. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.
Born in Willimantic, CT, the son of the late David Marrotte and leaves behind his mother Muriel Tabor Marrotte, brother Matthew Marrotte and nieces and nephews Dale, Meagan, Melanie, and Matthew Jr.; brother, Michael Marrotte and his fiancé Ali Littlefield and nieces Emery and Sadie; sister, Sara Marrotte and nephew Patrick, sister Katie Marrotte and brother-in-law Victor Vargas, and nieces Kyara, Isabell, Sophia, and Victoria, and a special cousin Jessica Taylor who looked at him as a brother, as well as many other greatly loved cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Jonathan was predeceased by his oldest niece Emily Marrotte, his sister-in-law Jessica Marrotte, and special friends Tim and Ryan.
He loved to go to the beach, go on walks, and spend time with family. He loved comedy movies and was a big fan of the New England Patriots. He enjoyed riding four-wheelers and spending his time collecting modeled cars. He was a great uncle to all of his nieces and nephews and was always willing to spend any time with them as often as he could. He will be remembered for his infectious laugh, hard work, and willingness to always help anyone who needed it.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson Street, Willimantic, CT. His Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson Street, Willimantic, with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Club Road, Windham.
Jonathan M. Marrotte may have left this world, but his love and affection will forever stay in the hearts of all who knew him.
