In Loving Memory of Jonathan S. McCullouch, Junior (February 2001– August 2025)

Jonathan, age 24, of Tupper Lake, New York, passed away unexpectedly on August 27, 2025.

Born on February 18, 2001, Jonathan was a loving and kindhearted soul who is greatly missed by

his family and friends.

A graduate of Tupper Lake High School (Class of '19), Jonathan was actively involved in his

school community. He was a proud member of the Red & Black Players club, where he starred in

several school productions, with his most significant roles in Footloose. Other favorites included

Shuddersome: Tales of Poe, and his participation in Anything Goes sparked his love for theater.

His passion for music was just as strong-he started playing the saxophone, then he moved on to

piano, and later percussion in the school band, as well as baritone in the school choir. Jonathan

also ran with heart and determination for a season as part of the cross-country team his freshman

year, maintaining his signature smile despite often finishing last. Whether on stage, on the field,

or in the band room, Jonathan brought creativity to everything he did. Beyond his school activities,

Jonathan was a talented artist whose sketchbooks were full of imagination. He had a natural gift for

drawing, often creating detailed characters and vibrant scenes that showed both whimsy and depth.

His love for video games, especially the world of Pokémon, 5 Nights at Freddy's, Binding of Isaac and

others, was more than just a hobby; it was a source of happiness, creativity, and connection.

Whether battling with friends, collecting cards, or designing his own creatures, Jonathan's

enthusiasm was contagious.

He is survived by his father, Jonathan McCullouch; his younger sister, Kaitlyn; his grandmother,

Charlene McCullouch; and his aunt Michele McCullouch (Chris Pilkington) in Maryland, as well

as Regina Jordan, Leona Young, and his uncle Robert Nelson Young in Missouri.

A celebration of Jonathan's life will be held on Friday, October 3rd, at 2:00 PM at Tupper Lake

Municipal Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Red & Black Players in Jonathan's honor.

Jonathan's light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew him.

The McCullouch family has put the trust of their loved one in the care of the Frary Funeral Home, Tupper Lake.
