With the deepest sorrow, we announce that Jonathan Ira Miller, age 22 our precious son, brother, and uncle passed on Sunday, September 17, 2023.
Those who knew Jonathan, even just in passing, knew of his overwhelming need to help and care for others. The world is going to be a little dimmer as he is welcomed into heaven.
Jonathan graduated from Spectrum Academy in 2019. There he served on the Student Council, competed in High School Robotics and won the school's first ever competition award. While attending his senior year, he also attended and graduated from Mountainland Technical College with a Certification in Information Technology. Jonathan then went on to follow in his father's footsteps and worked as a Clinical Engineer for Intermountain Healthcare.
His passions in life were fishing, camping, hunting, hiking and being outdoors. All his life he loved to take apart and fix things. This held true through all his life and everyday work.
Jonathan will be missed everyday by his Father, John Miller, his Mother, Tina Miller, Sister Heather Brown, Nephew Aiden Brown, his great grandfather, Jack Baker, his grandparents Doyle and Rilla Owens & James and Terry Huffstatler, along with his loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many, many great friends.
We know Jonathan is now with both of his Grandfathers’ John Miller Sr. & George Douglas, his Great Grandmother Barbara Ellsworth, and the many other family members who proceeded his passing.
An informal celebration of Jonathan's life will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Santaquin East Stake Center located at 548 South 400 East, Santaquin. The service is casual dress.
