Jonathan Lee Moreno, born on June 25, 1991, left this world on November 11, 2025, at the age of 34. He lived his life with a spirit that touched everyone around him, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love.
Jonathan was a devoted son, brother, and uncle, providing an unwavering source of joy to his loved ones. He particularly enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, often gathering with his family for bar-b-ques, which became a cherished tradition filled with laughter and warmth. His love for his nieces and nephews was evident in the time he spent playing with them, creating bonds that will linger in their hearts forever.
An avid fisherman, Jonathan found peace and contentment on the water, sharing these precious moments with his family. His passion for sports was notable; whether skateboarding or on the basketball court, Jonathan excelled and inspired others with his talent. He had an ear for music, often allowing it to accompany the joyful moments of his life.
Jonathan is survived by his beloved mother, Rebecca Zapata, who has been a pillar of strength, and his brothers, Armando Zapata, Jesse Zapata, Joseph Moreno and his wife Maria Vasquez, Carlos Moreno, and Joe Moreno and his wife Diana Urbina. He adored his nieces and nephews, Caesar, Jesse, Draven Isaiah, Sydnie, Isabella, Olivia, Sophia and Joe Jr. Together, they honor his memory and celebrate the indelible impact he had on their lives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Moreno, whose absence Jonathan carried with him.
A memorial service to honor Jonathan's life will be held on November 15, 2025, at South - Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels, located at 3520 S Flores St, San Antonio, TX 78204, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
