Jonathan "Jon" Clay Nichols, age 41, of Martin, passed away Monday, March 10, 2025, at his home.
Born July 1, 1983, in Toccoa, GA, he was the son of Gary Nichols and the late Eva Regina Thomas. He was a self-employed lawn care specialist and was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by his father & stepmother: Gary Lamar & Marlene S. Nichols of Louisville, KY; brother and sister-in-law: Matthew Dustin & Jennifer Nichols. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents: Joe & Trudy Nichols and Odis & Joyce Thomas.
The funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2025, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bruce Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Richard Ivester officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 2:00 p.m.
