Jonathan was born on February 17, 1992, in Torrance, California, to Delia Ramirez and Jesus Rodriguez. He was a beloved father, son, brother, and uncle whose vibrant personality touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Raised in Orange County, Jonathan spent his childhood years surrounded by his loving family-Delia, Tunu, Pastor Pryce and Teri-who each played a role in shaping the kind-hearted man he became. He shared a special bond with his siblings Randy, Jesus, Phillip, Priscilla, Clarissa, Bobby, Yanica and Yanessa growing up making unforgettable memories. He also adored his nieces and nephews, always showing up with love, support, and a playful spirit. He shared this special bond of parenthood with the love of his life Ashley, with whom he remained connected through their daughter. Jonathan had a natural talent for music and enjoyed playing the guitar and drums. His sense of humor was unmatched; he had a gift for creating impromptu skits and finding joy in making others laugh. His favorite shows-That '70s Show and The Office-reflected his playful personality, and he could often be found quoting scenes or rewatching his favorite movies, Blood In Blood Out and Can't Hardly Wait.
A man of many interests, Jonathan loved bowling, shooting pool, dancing, and trips to the shooting range. He was a loyal fan of the Raiders, Dodgers, and Lakers. His musical taste was as eclectic as his spirit, ranging from Sublime and the Red-Hot Chili Peppers to Drake, Nipsey Hussle, 2Pac, and Johnny Cash.
Jonathan will be remembered for his big heart, unwavering loyalty, and his ability to light up a room with laughter. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
