Jonathan Voss, 50, of Dugway Utah, passed away on January 25, 2026. Born on June 27, 1975, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Jonathan was the beloved son of Renate Voss and the late Howard Voss. Jonathan graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1994. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints.
Jonathan has worked in several types of construction. He worked as an estimator for a roofing company. He later worked in the oil field on a perforation crew. Jonathan enjoyed tinkering with equipment and eventually found a career calibrating instruments for the military. Jonathan was an avid reader with interests in investing and rocketry. He also loved music and played the acoustic guitar. His impromptu concerts singing and playing the guitar will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Jonathan treasured going on outdoor adventures with his family. He enjoyed camping, hunting and riding UTV’s. Jonathan loved going on challenging hikes and climbing mountains with his brother Dan.
Jonathan is survived by his son Jaron Voss; his mother Renate Voss; his 5 siblings Paul Voss (Cameron), Kathryn Nash (Michael), Lara Cross, Heidi Keister (Jason), Daniel Voss (Heather); and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jonathan was proceeded in death by his father Howard Voss.
Although Jonathan is no longer with us, he will be remembered for his kind and gentle heart. Jonathan deeply loved his son Jaron and will be greatly missed by all that were close to him.
