Jonathan Moore Walston

Jonathan Moore Walston, age 33, of Rochester, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on May 21, 2025. Born on July 30, 1991, in Cleveland, Ohio, Jonathan brought warmth, laughter, and love into the lives of everyone who knew him.
Jonathan was a devoted father, a loving partner, and a cherished son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his parents, Rick and Dorothy Walston; his brothers and their spouses, Tim and Jennifer Walston (and children Gus and Lena), and Chris and Janelle Walston; his partner, Sarah Dodge; and his beloved children: Kiara (16), Javaeh (13), Carter (9), and Journee (6). His children were the light of his life, and he poured his heart into being the best father he could be.
Jonathan will be remembered for his generous spirit, his sense of humor, and the deep love he had for his family. His presence brought joy and comfort, and his absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who loved him.
A visitation will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 24, 2025, and a Celebration of Life at 12:00 PM at Marion Road Christian Church (4051 50th Ave SE, Rochester, Minnesota). A luncheon and burial at Marion Cemetery will follow. All who knew and loved Jonathan are welcome to attend and honor his memory. Memorial gifts of cash will support his children or donations can be made to Pine Haven Christian Assembly.
