Jonathon Dewayne Dunn, born on September 30, 1965, passed away on December 22, 2025. He was a loving father, devoted husband, and a cherished friend whose life was defined by love, faith, and devotion to his family.
Jonathon is survived by his loving wife, Ahna Dunn; sons, Steven (Jessica) Dunn and their six children, Leland, Keitan, Audie, Araea, Ozzalia, and Daxton, Thomas Dunn and his daughter, Avrionna, and Ronnie Dunn; and daughters, Lisa (Tyler) Behrent and their three children, Elizabeth, Allymae, and Izabella, and Kayla Lynn (Chad) Crowe and their four children, Seth, Vincent, Landin, and Charley. He took great pride in being a husband and father, offering constant love, guidance, and support to his family.
Jonathon’s life reflected a deep spiritual foundation. He believed in God’s grace and found strength in faith during both joyful and difficult times. While his passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him, his family takes comfort in knowing he is now at peace, resting in God’s eternal care. As Scripture reminds us, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18)
Known for his kindness, loyalty, and generous heart, Jonathon touched many lives and will be remembered for the love he freely gave. His legacy lives on through his family, his faith, and the many memories shared with friends and loved ones.
Jonathon Dewayne Dunn will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
The family will hold a private graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, where his ashes will be buried next to his grandson, Nathan Dunn. Family and friends are welcome to gather at 5:00 p.m. at Highland Cemetery.
