Jonathon Howard Wood, 66, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on April 23, 2024. He was born in St. Albans, Vermont on May 18, 1957.
Jon had many activities that he enjoyed throughout his lifetime. He enjoyed spending time at home with his wife Bev and their dogs. He enjoyed riding motorcycles. He was an avid fan of news and liked to engage in conversations about current events.
Jon was a skilled tradesman in construction, repair and rehab and had several areas of proficiency. Jon’s most recent employment was working for Lowes as a Pro Service Representative.
Jon is survived by his wife, Beverly Brown, Son, Jeff Wood, daughter, Melissa Wood-Thomas, Brothers; George, Todd & Tony, Sister, Nancy, grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents; George & Priscilla and brother, Tim.
Funeral services are being held at Indiana Funeral Care – Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis IN 46250. A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 from 2:30pm to 4:30pm, with a memorial service beginning at 4:30pm.
